This is intended to those foreigners who wants to live here in the Philippines.
    Philippines is not just a home of beautiful tourist attractions but it is also a home of hospitable and amazing people. Tourists from all over the world visit the Philippines not just to see its beautiful beaches and breathtaking sights, but also to experience the country’s grand festivals that, without a doubt, makes it more fun in the Philippines.

    If you want to visit the Philippines, first thing you will do is to communicate its people. How to communicate its people? Well, I’ll give you some tips. Filipino people are very hospitable and considerate . Po and opo is a common word in the Philippines to show respect to elderly, you should use that if you went to the Philippines so that they will be glad that you know that word already and now they will treat you as Filipino. ''Po'' is used to show respect when speaking or called by someone older or a person with authority and ''Opo'' is used to answer questions that has something to do with actions. Some of the most common words for showing respect in a Filipino household are po and opo. Both basically mean "yes" in a respectful way, rather than just saying oo, or yes normally. 

    Filipinos love to talk even some Filipinos are not fluent in english they will try their best to communicate with you. Filipinos love it when a foreigner makes the effort to learn the language. Saying simple “thank you “ or ‘’salamat’’ in the Philippines is a big deal, it will fuel their motivation to communicate with you. 

    Now, I will teach you some tagalog words that you can use in communicating the people here, these are the most common words that has been used here in the Philippines, ‘’Saan’’ in english ‘’where’’, ‘’magkano’’ if you will asking price, ‘’gutom’’ when you are hungry, ‘’uhaw’’ when you are thirsty and there is many more. I hope this will help you and don’t hesitate to learn more tagalog words because there are many Filipinos that will help you here in learning new language.

Philippines is a home of different cultures. When you are here, you will meet different people. I would like to inform you that Philippines is divided in many islands and every island has culture. You must prepare yourself to meet different filipinos. Though we are diverse from different cultures but  we are all united here. 

    Furthermore,  If you will visit the Philippines, you must ready your smile because people here are smiling even they dont know you. You will adjust easily when you are here because the locals will help you. Hence, It is easy to communicate and to have conversation with the people of the Philippines, you are very welcome here, the Filipino people are ready to welcome you.

Sherry Turkle thinks that every day the population is losing the freedom of be a unique individual with the capacity of having a conversation with others apart from an electronic device. Mostly people nowadays utilize virtual conversation than face-to-face conversation. She believes that technology should be use in other areas and not much in the individual life style,  been able to put a device a side should be easy, in order to be part of those moments that wouldn’t came back anymore, be able to have a chat between a boss and a worker , friend to friend or even between family members (Rene, 2014). Because we are now dependent with the technology, we can’t live if we don’t touch our cell phones, mostly people depends their life on social media , some people post every minutes of their lives to show what they are doing, they used social media platforms to show to everybody about their lives. For me, it is not good because when doing that you are now telling your whole life to everybody and everyone knows you already even you don’t know everyone, you don’t have any privacy at all. But we don’t need to stay away or being anti-social media. People are stronger than social media because we can easily think before we act and think before we speak. There is nothing to be worried about if we are wise when we share something on social media. Again, don’t too dependent on social media.

Technology has disadvantages and advantages. At this point, we will be talking the advantages of technology. It might sound confusing, as social media is often blamed for damaging honest, natural communication. However, with the help of social media communication is so much easier.  We can easily contact someone if there are emergencies, we can message someone directly if we need help, we can contact our families and friends that are living abroad. That's why social media had a big part in our daily lives. It can be a political figure, celebrity, company or anything you can think of. If he/she or it has an account on social media you can directly contact them, or leave a comment. Years ago it would be unthinkable. Social media comes with very important negative effects as well. There is no bad in social media if we will use it in a right way.

Be aware of the reality that technology has eaten the world, where everyone holding their phones, some are busy in front of their personal computer, some kids are having fun with their Ipad and mostly people posting different happenings in social medias. We do not realize that we are now communicating mostly in virtual, we express our feelings, emotions through the social medias. We do not realize that expressing our emotion in virtual and face to face conversation is so different. We do not know that having conversation through digital is effective, we are not sure if the people we talked in social media are interested to communicate with us and we do not know the true reaction or feelings while having a conversation with them, because it is so easy to manipulate feelings in social media just a one click of your finger then you can now send emojis that serves as your reaction or feelings. We do not realize that face to face communication is now slowly vanish because if we will be having communication with our friends, neighbors and even our family that are near from us are communicating through online. We are now all lazy because of this system, all of us think that it is easy to communicate online because just a click then you can now start a conversation. Yes, it is comfortable for us, but we do not realize that we abused the use of it. Our actions have now been affected.  It's not just socialization and entertainment that is being swallowed by the digital world, but also retail (ecommerce), banking and financial services (fintech), education (online learning), newspapers (online newspapers) and sports (eSports), just to name a few other consumer industries. More and more of our real-world experiences now take place on the digital screen.
